Frequently asked questions.

What is most frequently asked about the technology behind RIP App Business. Answered briefly and clearly.

What technology is RIP App Business based on?

RIP App Business is built on its own infrastructure comprising app, trackers, stations and integrated hardware. This creates a closed system for digital funeral workflows.

Does RIP App Business require mobile networks or third-party networks?

No. The technology is designed so that devices can communicate with each other autonomously. This means RIP App Business does not depend on third-party smartphone networks.

What is the advantage over networks like Apple Find My?

RIP App Business relies on its own infrastructure rather than third-party devices. This creates more control, better reliability and a solution developed specifically for the requirements of the funeral industry.

How are vehicles integrated into the system?

Every subscribed business receives RIP-Trackers that are simply plugged in via USB or the cigarette lighter socket in the vehicle. From that moment the vehicle is part of the digital system.

Do separate devices need to be purchased?

No. There is an app for staff and management. Additional specialist devices for daily use are not necessary.

How are coffins and urns digitally integrated into the system?

RIP-certified coffins already come with integrated technology from the manufacturer. At the crematorium the technology can be continued and transferred to the urn.

How does the technology work at the crematorium?

At the crematorium RIP-Stations are used, which detect the technology, continue it and integrate it into the workflow. This keeps the process digitally connected there too.

Is the system maintenance-intensive?

No. RIP App Business is designed as a low-maintenance, closed ecosystem. The infrastructure works in the background without requiring ongoing manual intervention.

Which apps are available for daily use?

For staff and management there will be an app for iOS and Android. This allows cases to be created, assigned and linked with RIP-Tags.

How is the technology developing further?

RIP App Business is continuously extended. A next step is the RIP-Display: an integrated digital screen on the coffin that shows information in real time and further reduces paper-based processes.
